Temptation Cancun Resort Reviews

So... I couldn’t really relax in the room. The bed was way too hard for me, the pillows felt flat, and the AC was loud enough that it kept bothering me through the night. I ended up waking up tired most mornings.

The room also had this kind of damp feel to it and just didn’t feel cozy at all. For the price, I really expected to at least get a decent night’s sleep, but that didn’t happen. I wouldn’t stay there again.

For me, the resort was just okay overall, but the bar service really took away from the experience. We felt like we were waiting forever for drinks, even at times when it didn’t seem especially busy. A couple of the bartenders were friendly, but others gave off the vibe that we were bothering them just by ordering. Maybe we caught them on an off week, but I expected better.

I knew it was an adults-only place, so I expected it to be a bit more calm and relaxing, but the vibe just wasn’t for me. It felt really loud and awkward most of the time, with party energy pretty much everywhere. What made it more frustrating was that whenever I brought up concerns, it felt like nobody really took ownership or tried to help. Everyone kind of passed it off to someone else. Just not the vacation experience I was hoping for.

We got there around 3pm and check-in was kind of a mess. The line was barely moving, and nobody really explained what was happening, so everyone was just standing around looking confused.

When we finally made it to the desk, they told us our room wasn’t ready yet and said to wait “a little bit.” That ended up being almost 2 hours. The staff wasn’t rude or anything, just not very helpful, not sure how to explain it.

It definitely wasn’t the best first impression for a vacation. I expected to wait a bit, but this felt really unorganized and tiring, especially after traveling.

We had a really good time overall. I mostly remember the nice parts of the trip, though the pool area definitely got crowded. A few mornings we had to hunt around for seats, and if you weren’t there early, it was kind of a hassle. Not enough to ruin anything, just one of those little annoyances. Looking back, I’d still call it a good stay.

The concierge took way too long to get back to us, which was frustrating. When they finally replied, they didn’t really offer much help either. I understand things can get busy, but it definitely could’ve been handled better.

I was there throughout the week and the drinks just didn’t hit. They tasted watered down and kind of cheap, like something you’d get at a place that... I don’t know, just not what I was expecting.

Staff were genuinely nice, always smiling, and made the stay feel easy. Only small thing: check-in could’ve been quicker

I stayed at Temptation Cancun the room was kept So clean the whole time. Housekeeping came by every day, left fresh towels, made the bed really nicely, and the bathroom always looked spotless. Even when we dragged in some sand from the beach, they somehow got it all cleaned up. No weird smells, no dust, nothing like that. I was really happy with it and would Definitely stay again

The food was decent overall, but compared to other places I’ve stayed, the restaurant variety felt limited. After a few days, we started getting bored and ended up going back to the same spots more than we would’ve liked.

We were hoping to spend some time relaxing by the pool, but it was super loud and there was a rowdy drunk crowd most of the time. It just wasn’t the chill vibe we were expecting, so we ended up avoiding the area. Did anyone else have the same experience?

The place itself was clean and the staff were fine, so no big complaints there 🙂 But the crowd just wasn’t for me. It felt cliquey, with a lot of loud groups sticking to themselves, and it was hard to actually meet anyone unless you already came with people. I was hoping for a more open, friendly social vibe, so I left feeling kind of disappointed :/

I don’t know, the place just gave me a bit of an uneasy feeling after dark. During the day it was fine, but at night I didn’t really feel all that safe or relaxed there.

I had a decent time at Temptation Cancun, overall, and the vibe was definitely fun. But, the price we saw online, was not really the price we ended up paying. Once we got to check in, and even throughout the stay, extra charges just kept showing up.

The other thing was, it felt like staff were constantly trying to sell us on upgrades, events, bottles, memberships, and whatever else. At first it was easy to brush off, but after a while, it got tiring. Fun place, for sure, but I left feeling, kind of nickel and dimed.

Just a heads up for anyone planning a visit: the entertainment was probably the weakest part of the week for us. It felt boring most nights and didn’t seem very well planned out. If evening activities are a big part of your trip, I’d recommend keeping your expectations low or having your own plans as a backup.

The pool was the best part of the stay. We spent a good amount of time there, and it was a nice spot to relax, especially after being out and about all day. I always judge a place a little by whether I’d want to hang around the pool with a drink and do absolutely nothing, and this one passed that test. The rooms, though, felt tired. Nothing was a total disaster, but everything just seemed like it could use a refresh. The amenities were also kind of lacking, which was a bit disappointing. I wasn’t expecting anything super fancy, but a few extra touches would’ve made the stay feel more comfortable. Random side note, I forgot how much I miss hotels that have decent coffee available in the morning, it makes such a difference. Overall, it was fine, and the pool helped a lot, but the rooms and amenities didn’t really stand out

Had a really good time at Temptation overall. The parties were a lot of fun, the music was loud in the best way, and the drinks were solid. I also appreciated getting my booking emails and receipts without any hassle, which made things easy to keep track of. Only taking off one star because it did get crowded at times, but I’d still go back

I don’t know, something about it just felt a little off to me. I was expecting a more genuinely body-positive vibe, but it came across like that positivity only applied to certain body types. Maybe that wasn’t the intention, but my gut reaction was that it didn’t feel as inclusive as I hoped...

The location was kind of awkward for me, and getting to other places took more effort than I expected

When I got to the room, it needed a little maintenance, but the staff took care of it really quickly. Overall, it was a smooth experience and I appreciated how fast they handled it.
